Chimney Rock
Chimney Rock is located within Hickory Nut Gorge in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, where geological uplift and erosion have formed steep cliffs and narrow valleys characteristic of the southern Appalachian region. The prominent rock formation, a 315-foot gneiss monolith rising above the surrounding landscape, serves as a distinctive landmark overlooking the Broad River valley. :
