Upperville Colt & Horse Show
The Upperville Colt & Horse Show is one of America’s oldest and most prestigious equestrian events. Held each June in the rolling countryside of Virginia’s Hunt Country, the show brings together top riders, horses, and trainers for a week of hunter, jumper, and equitation competition. Since its founding in 1853, Upperville has remained a cherished tradition that celebrates the deep connection between horses, sport, and the rural landscape of northern Virginia.
The 2026 show continued this long-standing legacy, drawing competitors and spectators from across the United States. Set beneath mature shade trees and surrounded by stone walls, pastures, and historic farms, the grounds provide a uniquely scenic backdrop for world-class competition. Beyond the excitement of the show ring, Upperville offers visitors an opportunity to experience the culture and heritage of Virginia’s equestrian community.
This gallery captures scenes from the 2026 Upperville Colt & Horse Show, including riders in competition, champion horses, and moments from one of the nation’s most celebrated horse shows.
