Huntington Gardens
The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens is located in San Marino in the San Gabriel Valley near Los Angeles, where Mediterranean climate conditions support diverse cultivated plant collections. The institution originated from the private estate of Henry E. Huntington, a railroad entrepreneur who developed extensive gardens and art collections in the early twentieth century.
